Who Can Apply

Assistance is given to a wide range of organisations in Eswatini, from small community-based groups to local branches of international charities. The Trust does not use a standard application form, allowing flexibility to reflect the diverse needs of applicants.

The level of detail required depends on the size of the grant requested. Each year, the SCT distributes approximately E800,000 (£40,000) in grants.

How to Apply

Applications for assistance are normally submitted in English, but applications in siSwati are also accepted.

Applications should include:

  • Organisation name and contact details

  • Location of the project

  • Organisational profile

  • Clear description of the assistance requested

  • Intended outcomes and impact

Applications should be addressed to:

The Manager
Eswatini Charitable Trust
P. O. Box 245
Manzini
The Kingdom of Eswatini

How Applications Are Reviewed

All applications are initially reviewed by the SCT Manager in Eswatini to ensure the information provided is accurate, complete, and appropriate.

Funding decisions are made two to three times each year by the Eswatini Board and are then submitted for approval by the UK Trustees. This process ensures accountability, transparency, and alignment with the Trust’s mission.
