Runners in the October Royal Parks Half Marathon in London have transformed the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children supported by the SCT. Thanks to their amazing efforts in 2024, six students will be supported through their degree courses in Eswatini. The 2025 runners will ensure that the students currently in Form 5 will also be able to follow their dreams.

How to donate
Donations to the 12 October Royal Parks Half Marathon 2025 can be made on the Just Giving website.
The SCT student support scheme
The SCT supports orphaned and vulnerable children who wouldn’t be in school without our assistance. Supported children live with their remaining family members while the SCT pays their school expenses.
The SCT has been supporting orphaned children since the peak of the AIDS crisis in the 1990s when the high death rate severely strained family support mechanisms and child-headed households were common. Poor households still struggle to keep their children in school, and the focus is still on children who have lost a parent.
