Swaziland has one of the highest HIV prevalence rate in the world. HIV prevalence in the adult population (15+) is estimated to be 25.9%. There are an estimated 180,000 people living with HIV/AIDS (2009) of which 100,000 are women and 14,000 children. The current estimate for AIDS orphans is 69,000. Source: UNICEF |
